University Libraries Section (ULS): Using LibGuides

Purpose of LibGuides content

Our LibGuides should contain information that's practical, succinct, informal, and easy to skim. It should be:

  • useful for committees, discussion groups, and the executive committee to do their work
  • useful for prospective ULS members to learn more about what ULS does
  • long lasting so that it won't need regular updates

Other communication channels

When possible, link out to information that exists elsewhere rather than duplicating it. Before putting information on a LibGuide, consider other communication channels:
