Black Cultural Archives (BCA)A national heritage centre whose mission is “to collect, preserve and celebrate the histories of people of African and Caribbean descent in the UK, and to inspire and give strength to individuals, communities and society.” Founded in 1981, its archival collections now extend across two sites; at its main building, in Brixton, London, it also hosts exhibits, educational activities, and other events.
