The "CLS Peer Writing Circle Service" is a program for academic librarians seeking assistance, support and accountability with research and scholarly projects on issues related to college librarianship. The service helps by matching participants with like-minded colleagues, who can offer advice and support of the writing process and provide accountability to sustain writing motivation. The program will provide participants with opportunities to review and discuss best practices in regard to academic writing, submit and receive feedback on current writing projects, and enhance accountability for sustained productivity.

Member in good standing of CLS/ACRL (Association of College and Research Libraries).
A college librarian who desires to publish or make a conference presentation.
While not required, it is helpful to have a research project or writing topic in mind.
The Peer Writing Circle program is sponsored and administered by the Research on College Librarianship Committee of the College Libraries Section of ACRL.
Committee Charge: To investigate ways that the section can encourage research and publishing on college libraries and librarianship and make recommendations to the CLS Executive Committee.
