In 2014, the Instruction and Information Literacy (ANSS_IIL) Committee began working on transitioning from its former Information Literacy Standards to ACRL's new Framework for Information Literacy. The ANSS_IIL committee represents three disciplines: Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice Studies. As such, the committee has worked closely with its disciplinary associations: The American Anthropological Association (AAA), the American Sociological Association (ASA), and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS). Additionally, the committee has worked with the ACRL liaisons to each disciplinary association, and ACRL’s Information Literacy Frameworks and Standards committee (ILFSC). The following pages contain the committee's *draft* Framework documents.
