For more than 30 years Susan Tucker was Curator of Books and Records for the Newcomb Archives and Vorhoff Library at Newcomb College of Tulane University. She is the author of two books, Telling Memories among Southern Women Domestic Workers and their Employers in the Segregated South and Newcomb College, 1886-2006: Higher Education for Women in New Orleans written with Beth Willinger. She is also responsible for assembling the Culinary History Collection at the Newcomb Archives.
