The Open Access (OA) and Open Educational Resources (OER) included in this guide have been identified and evaluated as relevant to women and gender studies and were selected by members of the WGSS Collections Committee or gathered through an online Google submission form. The selection of resources is not an endorsement by the American Library Association or ACRL.
Most of the resources are open license (grants permission to access, re-use and redistribute a work with few or no restrictions), or may be in the public domain (and may be used or reproduced without permission or fee) but some may be protected by license or have limited use. We recommend that you thoroughly read the disclaimers on each resource especially before use, re-use or re-purposing.
