A sophomore Zoology class was introduced to disease transmission throughout their course work. Presented with an advertisement on Chronic Wasting Disease, students analyzed it and then compared it to other scholarly sources. The issues of access, searching skills, and scientific literacy levels of different audiences were also discussed.
