1. Serve as an officer of the section, and assist in advancing the goals and objectives of the section and ACRL.
2. Support the publicity efforts of STS Council and all STS committees/groups.
Manage platforms that STS uses to promote and share programming (e.g., STS Google Calendar and STS YouTube Channel)
Provide one to two Publicity Training event/s per year. Invite all STS leadership and members. At each event, demonstrate: STS Google Calendar, STS YouTube Channel, ALA Connect (particularly the STS Discussion List) and any other relevant platforms.
Maintain and periodically update/share STS documents in the Link Library.
Monitor the STS Discussion List/ALA Connect, STS Signal, and any other relevant sites, to capture and record STS Event programming dates and descriptions. This document is in the Link Library.
Provide, as needed, additional publicity advice and assistance to STS members and STS committees/groups.
